Our Courses
- PM101-PMP Certification Preparation (35 PDU). An intense, focused training course with the single objective of preparing students to successfully prepare for and take the PMP certification exam. The course covers the PMBOK’s 9 knowledge areas and it's 42 processes spread across 5 process groups. We also give real-world context to the PMBOK by teaching these best practices via common project workflow in a comprehensive PMBOK-mapped Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). After taking this class project managers should be ready to take and pass the PMP examination.
- PM201-Project Management Practical Skills (35 PDU). Companion course (before or after PMP certification) that gets into the details of exactly what should occur during the course of a project. This class teaches the practical hands-on skills that answer the who, what, where, when, how, and why questions at every step of initiating, planning, executing, and closing a project, including how to monitor and control it from initiation to close. We cover, in detail, the complete project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and all of the common project deliverables critical to success using best practices promoted by PMI in the PMBOK, by SEI's CMMI, and by IEEE, IEC, and ISO. After taking this class, project managers should be ready and able to successfully perform any project management task.
- PM301-Project Management Leadership Skills. Late 2012.
